AIR INJECTION

The Aerobic iron filter reduces iron, sulfide and manganese and can also help raise pH levels and clear some sediment.  These versatile units use little or no chemicals.  The adjustable air injection or compressor permits the proper amounts of air to be injected into the water to stabilize water.  Please call for more detailed information.

 

ACID NEUTRALIZER

Country Water Systems can install an Acid Neutralizer to control and prevent the corrosion of pipes, appliances, heaters and boilers. Acid Neutralizers use calcite, a natural mineral which balances the pH of your daily water supply. This filter will require regular maintenance and a refill of Calcite approximately every three months to six months depending on water volume usage. Calcite and other replacement parts are available at Country Water Systems.

 

IRON FILTERS

Country Water Systems offers Iron Filters that help remove iron and manganese; also filters other suspended matter, prevent rust stains on your clothing and enamelware and will remove the taste and color of iron. Country Water Systems can supply, install and service several types of iron filters. Depending on your particular situation, CWS can suggest utilizing manganese greensand, birm, or a fine mesh resin softener. Maintenance with Iron Filters varies, however all will have a need for service whether it is backwashing or a chemical regeneration as a routine for best results.

 

ULTRAVIOLET WATER PURIFIER

The Ultraviolet Water Purifier (UV) eliminates levels of harmful bacteria. The Ultraviolet Water Purifier is a lamp that emits a particular band of light, which attacks a host of microorganisms and ensures better health. Ultraviolet Purifiers are 100% chemical free filters. Country Water Systems recommends filtering the water prior to UV system to remove particles from the water therefore eliminating any interference in the UV’s process. Maximum life expectancy of the UV bulb is one year; thereafter the bulb will begin to loose power and cannot maintain a level of performance. This bulb should be replaced annually and many sizes are stocked at Country Water Systems.

WATER SOFTENERS

Softeners prevent the hard water stains, clogging of pipes that cause a reduction of water pressure. Hard water can ultimately damage your water heater, dishwashers, icemakers, washing machines, coffee makers and virtually all appliances through which water passes. Hard water also causes the spots or streaks on dishes and glassware, and dulls the look of clothing, floors, sinks, tubs, and even hair. Country Water Systems stocks a number of Water Softener sizes. We install and service softeners that can be maintained by meter or timed regeneration. All products are stocked at Country Water Systems or we can help maintain your system with a scheduled service visit.

CARBON FILTER

Carbon Filters, through filtration and adsorption, remove organic chemicals and other contaminates, derived from both natural and industrial sources, which cause color, taste and odor problems. Although, we offer a variety of media applications with the Carbon Filter the most common carbon is Hi Activated Carbon. This is able to remove chlorine, as well as removing offensive tastes and odors from the water supply. While Carbon Filters using Hi Activated Carbon have a low maintenance schedule, replacement every few years, depending on usage, is necessary. Country Water Systems can help maintain your Carbon filter annually with a service visit and replacing your Hi Activated Carbon.

SEDIMENT FILTER

Sediment filters remove dirt, silica and most suspended matter from your water supply. Sediment filters do not require chemicals, however periodic backwashing is necessary. Sediment filter controls can be set for the backwashing to meet the sediment removal needs.

POINT OF USE FILTER

A point of use filter is available in both activated carbon and Sediment removal. This system has been designed for potable water filtration applications to afford you cleaner, clearer, better tasting water. This system requires replaceable cartridges, Activated Carbon or Sediment Filter Cartridge; both are available at Country Water Systems. The Cartridge Filter is utilized where drinking water is mainly used such as a kitchen sink. Specifically for the need for coffee makers, espresso machines, ice makers, etc. Routine replacement of filters would be necessary and you can find them at Country Water Systems.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is one of the most convenient and economical methods of reducing unwanted contaminates in your drinking water. Reverse Osmosis is the process by which water molecules are forced, by household water pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane. Most of the impurities and other contaminates are rinsed to the drain while the refined water is routed to a special holding tank. RO systems have stages of filters, which need to be replaced periodically depending on usage. CWS can help with maintenance on your system and we stock the necessary replacement parts for the Reverse Osmosis filter system.

 

SEPARATOR

Separator's protect your water supply systems from sand, silt and grit.  Separators' works when sand water enters unit and are drawn through slots and accelerated into the separation chamber.  Centrifugal action tosses particles heavier than the water to perimeter then sand drops into collection chamber and is purged from system.
